Tabbed By: Belavista Man On: 29/09/07 E-mail: [email protected] I can't quite get some of the chords in the chorus. There must be some awkward or somthing... but here's my effort for the song, anyway. Intro: G Gsus4 e|-----------------| B|-----------------| G|-----------------| D|-----0-------0---| A|---2---2---3---3-| E|-3-------3-------| Repeat that 8 times for the intro. Verses: Play the intro throughout the first two lines of the verse, like this: G Gsus4 G Gsus4 G Gsus4 G Gsus4 I opened up the paper, I was all across the page G Gsus4 G Gsus4 G Gsus4 G Gsus4 With another senorita, will I ever act my age? Then, for the next line, play this... C Csus4 e|-----------------| B|-----------------| G|-----0-------0---| D|---2---2---3---3-| A|-3-------3-------| E|-----------------| ... 3 times, but for the last time, play: Dadd11 e|-----------------| B|-----------------| G|-----0-------0---| D|---4---4---4---4-| A|-5-------5-------| E|-----------------| Then for the last line(s) of the verse, go back to playing the intro thing. For the last part of the second verse (just before the chorus), play this: G G/F# e|-----------------| B|-----------------| G|-----------------| D|-----0-------0---| A|---2---2---2---2-| E|-3-------2-------| Chorus: G5 G5/F# E5 D5 e|--------------------------------| B|--------------------8-10br-8----| G|---------5-------------------11-| D|-5------------------------------| A|--------------------------------| E|--------------------------------| C5 B5 A#5 This is me, This is me Fill: D e|---------------| B|-8-8-10br-8----| G|------------10-| D|---------------| A|---------------| E|---------------| C5 B5 A#5 This is me, This is me D5 What you get is what you see C5 A#5 C5 This is me, This is me The next verse is only really half a verse, but its played the same as the first halves any other verses. The only difference is that there's this played over the top of it by lead guitar: e|-7-5-------7-------------| B|-----8-7-8-----7---8-7-8-| G|------------(7)-(7)------| D|-------------------------| A|-------------------------| E|-------------------------| That is played through most of this verse. Chorus again with the "lookin for somethin, laughing at nothing, dreaming of what could part sung at the beginning. The next verse and chorus are the same, but shifted up by two frets (one tone), so play two frets higher. The easiest thing to do for the verse on this part is to play the 7th on your A string where there would usually be an open D string (the same applies to the on D/Open G string) Easy enough, when it comes down to it, don't you think? If this tab confuses you a bit, PM me and I'll try and clear it up a bit. | / slide up | \ slide down | h hammer-on | p pull-off | ~ vibrato | + harmonic | x Mute note | b bend | r release |(?) ghost note
