From their 2014 album 'Cold Old Fire', if you're a super folky or into your trad,
     it's worth checking out

Written by Harry Donovan, who had also written Biddy Mulligan ( The Pride Of The Coombe )
and recorded in 1938 by Jimmy O'Dea, this tune is about Biddys' daughter Daffodil.
This song isn't quite as well known, but still a cracker of a tune, and a great drinking song.

Also. for those that don't know, the Coombe (it's pronounced Kooem)is an area of inner city
Dublin, with probably the greatest, funniest, quarest, people you could ever meet.

Check out the youtube link if you need help with how it goes

And as always, any mistakes are mine, drop me a line if you spot any glaring ones

Am not expecting this to bring a ton of ratings to my UG account,
but if you do like it, use it, or copy it, please take the time to rate it

                                                                  flatwound
