Loch Tay Boat Song

This is a slightly changed and adjusted version of what can be found here:
http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/c/corries/loch_tay_boat_song_crd.htm

"Nighean ruach" means "red haired lass", it's pronounced something like 'nee-an roo-a'.
Killen and Aberfeldy are two villages on both sides of the loch, where in between the ferry man rows his boat.
I have not yet figured out, what colour of hair "lint" could mean.

I like to play the song with capo on 3ed or 5th fret. It's even easier to play when transposed into C (5 steps
up), but that doesn't fit my voice.
The Corries (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sITr3lXzN8Y) play it in D# (capo on 8th, or 3ed when transposed
to C).

          G Bm
When I've done my work of day
      C D G Em
And I row my boat away
         C D G Em
Doon the waters o' Loch Tay
       Am D D7
As the evening light is fadin'
      G Bm
And I look upon Ben Lawers
          C D G Em
Where the after glory glows
      C D G Em
And I think on two bright eyes
        Am D G
And the melting mouth below

         C D G Em
She's my beauteous nighean ruach
         C D G Em
She's my joy and sorrow too
      C D G Em
And although she is untrue
          Am D D7
Ah, but I cannot live without her
       G Bm
For my heart's a boat in tow
        C D Em
And I'd give the world to know
        C D G Em
Why she means to let me go
     Am D G
As I sing horee, horo

        G Bm
Nighean ruach, your lovely hair
         C D G Em
Has more glamour I declare
     C D G Em
Than all the tresses rare
        Am D D7
From Killen to Aberfeldy
        G Bm
Be they lint, white, brown, or gold
        C D G Em
Be they blacker than the sloe
          C D G Em
They have no more worth to me
       Am D G
Than a meltin flake o' snow

        C D G Em
And her eyes are like the gleam
       C D G Em
O' the sunlight on the stream
        C D G Em
And the songs the faeries sing
          Am D D7
Seem like songs she sings at milkin'
       G Bm
But my heart is full of woe
         C D Em
For last night she bade me go
        C D G Em
And the tears begin to flow
     Am D G
As I sing horee, horo

         C D G Em
She's my beauteous nighean ruach
         C D G Em
She's my joy and sorrow too
      C D G Em
And although she is untrue
          Am D D7
Ah, but I cannot live without her
       G Bm
For my heart's a boat in tow
        C D Em
And I'd give the world to know
        C D G Em
Why she means to let me go
     Am D G
As I sing horee, horo
