Notice the note spacing here. For those first 8 bars, the guitar plays every five sixteenth notes, followed
by playing every seven sixteenth notes. Leo Margarit explains the rhythmic dynamic of the song on his Youtube
playthrough thusly:
"The verses of the song are based on 14 groups of 7 16th notes and 5 groups of 5 16th notes, which gives
that shifting effect between bass drum and snare drum. Obviously the bass drum is playing the first note of
every groups, while the rest of the drums are just "straight forward" 7/4. The choruses are based on groups
of 3 16th notes over a 5/4 signature.The last heavy section is pretty much the same thing, 4X7 16th notes +
4X5 16th notes over a 6/4 bar. The idea is to play around that with rhythmic illusions and such."
I hope that makes the rhythms of the song make sense, and I tried my best to represent these accurately in
