This song, "I Trust in You" was written and played by Shane & Shane during the early part of the
decade when on location, but to my knowledge it has never been recorded.
I heard it at a Youth Ministry Conference
somewhere around 2010 or 2011.
This isn't "exactly" the way they play it, meaning that I haven't found a video that allows me to see
their fingering while singing, and my ear isn't quite good enough to pick out chords by listening to a
live video. HOWEVER, because they never recorded it officially, you will most likely not be challenged
by anyone who knows it!
This progression is simple, and allows it to be played and sung quite easily.
During the chorus, this song is designed/written to be sung with men and women singing different
words simultaneously, denoted by the slash ( "/" ). Alternatively, you could split up the crowd to get a
better balance.
