Shakey Graves- Bullys Lament (Live at KUTX version)Album - As Per Request Capo 4 Every time this man plays his songs live they sound radically different, and apparently he even rearranges the lyrics at his whim. I Fell in love with the live KUTX version so I appropriated the only other guitar tab for this song and changed up the lyrics but keeping the chord structure. Please, if you have any corrections say so in the comments and I will update accordingly. I hope this helps. He picks a lot so the strumming pattern is mostly interpritive to you. (Taken from comment on the other guitar tab) The lick is on the (B) string, 3, 1 then open, and then (G) string 2nd fret. (this way sounds much more like Shakeys version, even though shakey does it in Open D tuning) Em Poor Lanky Lenny is too tall to be lost and found C Too big for the cages at the city pound G Oh what will he do? D Yeah what will we do for fun and for free? Em It seems the roads are growing wider and wider most every day C I used to love to drive but now I stay off the lanes G D What is the use of standing up is there is nowhere to lean? Em Oh yeah but somehow we’re getting by. C You know it seems a little bit easier to touch the sky G Yeah but something is coming for you, D Oh something’s coming for me. G Em D Oh cause can't you see no, yeah no, no, no, no, C Not like the others. G D C Oh maybe it’s true G Em D No, no, yeah no, no, no, no C Not like the others. Em Oh and we couldn’t be, yeah if we wanted to. (Riff) Em So poor lazy Lauren is too small to go outdoors C Yeah she's too loud for the neighbors Oh she's too slow for the chores G What will she do? D Yeah what will we do for fun and for free? Em Seems the roads are growing wider and wider most every day C You know I used to love to dive but now I stay off the lanes G D What is the use looking out if there is nothing to see? G Em D Oh but you and me no, yeah no, no, no, no, C Not like the others. G D C Oh maybe it’s true G Em D No, no, yeah no, no, no, no C Not like the others. Em Oh and we couldn’t be, oh if we wanted to.
