Here is a beautiful new song from Sarah's album Shine On - released today: May 5, 2014. When I play this on the acoustic guitar, I like to play an Fmaj7 instead of an F in the verses - I think it sounds pretty that way. I also like how the Em7 sounds. This set of chords is not perfect - I'm still working out the kinks - but they really are good enough to play along with the song and sound good. Any and all suggestions are welcome! --- INTRO --- C Em7 F (x2) --- VERSE --- C Em7 F It would be if it could be C Em7 F so wonderful if we succeed Am G F C Dm G Your warmth and your words found a place in my world and breathed new life in --- VERSE --- C Em7 F We come from the brink of destruction C Em7 F we gathered ourselves from the floor Am G F C G C F We tried and we suffered and finally recovered and found a new way to live --- CHORUS --- Dm G We’re two side by side with impossible dreams Dm F taking a chance to let love in C G Dm F Storms come I learned to be strong C G Dm F I don’t lean on anyone else C G Dm F But now I am so content here in your arms C G F I don’t want to be anywhere else with you C G F C G F I’m home, with you I’m home --- INSTRUMENTAL --- Am G F C Dm G --- VERSE --- C Em7 F I hold fast to my destination C Em7 F I know that the road will be long Am G F C G C F We light up the sky let the beauty define us and give, give it all we got --- CHORUS --- Dm G We’re two side by side with impossible dreams Dm F taking a chance to let love in C G Dm F Storms come I learned to be strong C G Dm F I don’t lean on anyone else C G Dm F But now I am so content here in your arms C G F I don’t want to be anywhere else with you C G F C G F I’m home, with you I’m home --- OUTRO --- C Em7 F (x2)
