Brad uses a G-bender for the solo. My guitar does not have a G-bender,
and I am assuming for the most part that yours does not either. That is

Slide down gradually from the 17th fret while using
alternate palm mute picking until you reach to about
the 3rd fret.

Strum the muted strings in the form of sixteenth notes.
Once again, check the video to see what the rhythm should
be like because there are pauses in between! Also, a wah
pedal is needed to achieve the correct sound. Start at the
heel and gradually push forward, ending up at your toes right
when this section is over. This lasts for four measures.
