Gary Green played a 12 string acoustic on this track. Playing live
he tuned down a full tone, and then added a capo at the 2nd fret
to sound as if in standard pitch. Presumably having it in a
lower tuning helped take pressure off the guitar neck, or maybe
for other songs in a live set when using the 12 string he was in a
dropped tuning of DGCFAD and just took the capo off for those...?
In live versions Garry Green uses this chord sequence in the intro,
and also during Kerry Minnear's vibraphone solo...
