You want the pick pattern to be the the following whilst holding each chord shape:
C= 5th string, 2nd and 3rd strings together x4
Am= 5th string, 2nd and 3rd strings together x4
Em= 5th string, 2nd and 3rd strings together x4
A= 5th string, 2nd and 3rd strings together x4
D= 4th string, 1st and 2nd strings together x4
G= 6th string, 1st and 2nd strings together x4
When coming back to the C each time on the verse try and hammer on the whole chord as you start
playing it again
