Light and Night was a wonderful little song that Tally Hall wrote and recorded with Nellie McKay for Kate DiCamillo's novel "The Magician's Elephant". It is based around an oom-pa oom-pa pattern and it's very very easy to get. If you're not sure exactly how to pluck it, just play along with the song, it's very natural and straightforward. NOTE: all of these chords should be played barred, otherwise you'll have the wrong inversion and it'll sound weird.
