This is classic late 1950's popular music, first released on the DECCA lable in 1959. Col Joye is an early Australian Rock musician, with a string of hit records including "Stagger Lee", "Rockin' Rollin' Clementine", "Oh Yeah Uh Huh", "Yes Sir That's My Baby", and "Heaven Is My Woman's Love". Col Joye was the first Australian rock and roll singer to have a number one record Australia-wide and experienced a string of chart successes in the early Australian rock and roll scene. Bye-Bye-Baby Goodbye - Col Joye & His Joy Boys 1959 This song is fairly easy to play if you use barre chords in the places where slides are indicated as “/” for up, and “\” for down. The up slide F/F#/G is only heard faintly in the original song, but I think it sounds good, so I kept it. The chord sequence G\F\Em/Dm7 can be done with open chords, but the alternative is G\F\Em\D starting with the G barre chord on fret 10.
