THIS IS MY OWN INTERPRETATION!!!
Key: Bb Phrygian
The theory to Bb Phrygian is that you take Bb Minor (Bb Eb Ab Db and Gb) and flat the
2nd note of the scale and sharp the 3rd. The scale notes are Bb C Db Eb F Gb Ab and Bb. So
if you flat the 2nd note C, you have B natural, and if you sharp the 3rd note Db, you
have D natural. This mode gives music that much more sinister and evil sound to solos.
NOTE: This theory only works for all phrygian keys!
All guitars to Bb on 7-string (Bb Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb)
I do not recomend tuning down to Bb on a standard 6-string guitar because if not only
sounds horrible, but makes you playing very unclean.
MAKE SURE TO CHECK TIME SIGNATURES!!!
