x"Fetisha" by Orgy Tabbed by Carey Phelps (ShapeShifter) Tuning: Dropped D Tuning ---How to D tune: In D tuning, the only string that is changed is the E string, the biggest one. The rest of the strings remain in standard tuning. Turn the knob at the top of the guitar neck clockwise to make the string get a lower sound. You can tell it is tuned to D correctly when you can play the top two strings at the same fret and have them sound in harmony. Do your best, it's worth it, because D tuning makes your guitar sound heavier, plus you only need to use one finger to play the chords, so you can jump around and play at the same time much easier. Song structure: ---All the verse riffs are just the guitar doing spooky high notes while the bass and keyboard do the main part of it. Each verse is played different, and there is slight improvision. Verse 1 Chorus Verse 2 Pre-Chorus Chorus Verse 3 Chorus Verse 1 E ------------------------------ B --------------------12-------- G -12-----11------------------9- D ------------------------------ A ------------------------------ D ------------------------------ ChorusA (Play 3 times, then play ChorusB once) E ------------------------------------- B ------------------------------------- G ------------------------------------- D -9-9-9-9-12-12-12-12-5-5-5-5-2-2-2-2- A -9-9-9-9-12-12-12-12-5-5-5-5-2-2-2-2- D -9-9-9-9-12-12-12-12-5-5-5-5-2-2-2-2- ChorusB E ---------------------------- B ---------------------------- G ---------------------------- D -9-9-9-9-12-12-12-12-11-11r- A -9-9-9-9-12-12-12-12-11-11r- D -9-9-9-9-12-12-12-12-11-11r- Verse 2 E ---------------------------------------16-------------- B ------------------------------------------------------- G -13---------14--13---------14--13-------------------13- D ------------------------------------------------14----- A ------------------------------------------------------- D ------------------------------------------------------- Pre-Chorus E ----------------------------- B ----------------------------- G ----------------------------- D -5---8--8--5--6--5--3--6-5-3- A -5---8--8--5--6--5--3--6-5-3- D -5---8--8--5--6--5--3--6-5-3- Verse 3 E ---------------------- B ---------------------- G ---------------------- D -11----7--11--10----4- A -11----7--11--10----4- D ---------------------- A second guitar plays this at various parts of the song: E ----- B ----- G ----- D -5-5- A -5-5- D -5-5- The verses of this song are boring when played without other instruments, but the chorus and pre-chorus riffs are kinda cool.
